HOSTED EVENTS

Vedder Holsters Annual Pack-A-Bag Event

habitat.png

We are proud to announce the first annual Vedder Holsters “Pack-A-Bag” charity event that started this year in 2021! This business-run (or business-orchestrated?) event had a great turnout to offer school supplies to 100 elementary school students! Our goal was to get these backpacks filled with school supplies to donate to 5 local elementary schools. These supplies can help these 100 kids succeed in the classroom this returning school year.

The Pack-A-Bag committee got together to research, plan, purchase, and organize the supplies. Then, the Vedder Holsters Volunteers gathered together to assemble the supplies for each backpack! For the most fun part, supplies (along with additional paper for the teachers to have on hand for the upcoming year) were delivered to the 5 local elementary schools the week before the scheduled Parent-Teacher meetings. That way, the backpacks could be dispersed before the school year began!

The staff had so much fun working on this donation event! Cannot wait to do it again next year!
